
Overview
Dr. Jastrzebski obtained his medical degree from the University of Manitoba in 2010. He then completed a one-year fellowship in ocular pathology at the University of Ottawa before returning to Winnipeg and completing his ophthalmology residency in 2016. He holds the special distinction of being the first graduating resident from the newly inaugurated University of Manitoba Residency Program in ophthalmology.
After residency, he pursued another fellowship in medical retina and uveitis at the University of Bristol. Dr. Jastrzebski sees patients with a variety of eye conditions, with a focus on diseases of the retina and ocular inflammatory diseases (uveitis). He has specialty training in retinal lasers, intravitreal treatments, and unique experience in the use of systemic immunosuppressive medications for the management of complex eye disease.
